Stay focused and stay busy

Being focused and being busy are two different behaviors although they can be related.

Being focused refers to the ability to concentrate on a specific task or activity, blocking out other distractions and keeping your attention on the goal at hand. This ability is from the Thymus. The mind is scattered, the Thymus is focused. Your will decides where to put your attention.

When you are focused, you are totally immersed in what you are doing and you are able to give all your attention to that task. Time flies, because Timo is eternal. The clock disappears. Without realizing it, hours pass and you do not get tired.

On the other hand, being busy simply refers to having too many tasks or responsibilities to work on.

You can be busy without necessarily being focused on what you're doing.

In fact, sometimes when you have a lot to do, it is difficult to stay focused on a single task.

In short, being focused involves deep concentration on a specific task, while being busy just involves having a lot of things to do.

Although both situations can coexist, it is possible to be focused and not be busy, or to be busy and not be focused.

Stop believing that you are a multitasker. The brain does not have that quality. When you believe that you can do several things at once, you simply divide the power of your attention into many poorly performed tasks.
