Your bet is on you
If you put your strength into yourself and have confidence in your possibilities, you can achieve high goals with great satisfaction. That is my work with my Self-Mastery students.
If you feel comfortable and happy with yourself, you will have the kind of confidence you need to succeed in life.
It's about being truly happy with the kind of person you are, what you do, and where you're going.
It's about knowing what you know and what you don't know, and being willing to acknowledge it.
One of my students told me: Before, when I walked into a room full of people I would ask myself if they would like me; now I look around and ask myself if I like them.
This kind of confidence isn't loud or necessarily outgoing. And it has nothing to do with social skills or speaking fluently. It has to do with being completely at peace with yourself.
In fact, it is normal for your confidence to increase or decrease depending on what is happening inside you.
Stop giving power to the outside.
Most of us would feel insecure if someone made a comment like:
“What, you still haven’t finished creating your company, innovating a new product, or delivering your final project? Well, I’ve already finished it and sent it to the boss, and he told me that he loves all my new ideas.”
“Wow, you haven’t been selected for the team? I guess you haven’t trained enough. Let’s hope you have better luck next season.”
Don't let your confidence be shaken by small things. Learn to recognize when someone is trying to put you down and make you feel insignificant. These kinds of comments can make you angry, upset, jealous, or even cry. That's normal. But you shouldn't let them undermine your inner confidence, the confidence that is based on how you value yourself.
Embrace your power regardless of what others say about you.
Put it into practice!
