Motivation as Energy for Success

Thank you for taking the time to read. This time, I want to address a topic of great interest, one that revolves around the energy you need to awaken within yourself to undertake projects, find a partner, make money, introduce a new product to the market, and ultimately achieve success in your goals.

Motivation is the driving force behind our actions or our behavior, but it often tends to be ephemeral. To put it more clearly, it’s temporary and requires continuous updating. It would be fair to say that daily, perhaps even with every moment of self-awareness, it diminishes. Life consists of moments, and for these to be meaningful, they must be filled with motivation.

Sustaining motivation gives you the energy to maintain the right attitude when life tries to hinder your projects.

The key to keeping motivation alive is having a purpose that extends beyond the temporary, one that originates from deep within you. This way, you will manage to stay motivated every passing temporal minute.

Without an enduring purpose, motivation fades away. You’ll fall into procrastination and abandon projects, even if they are significant and promising.

Psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl underscored the importance of striving for something worthwhile:

“What a person really needs is not a state of comfort without tension, but striving and struggling for a worthy goal, a freely chosen task.”

To me, this is the foundation of motivation. If you have a worthwhile goal for which you put in the effort, the goal itself will motivate you.
