How old am I?

When people ask me how old I am, I honestly don't know what to say. I prefer to reflect and talk about the experiences I've had up to this point. I share them with you with a smile:

  • 10,080 views that captivated me, 5,025 that made me smile and 4 that laid bare my soul.
  • 20,200 hugs unforgettable, three of them unrepeatable, because they were given to me by extraordinary human beings who are no longer with me today.
  • I slept a few nights in the hospital: some with sadness, like the ones I spent with my father before he died; others, curiously, I spent with the mother of my children before I saw them born. Those nights were unforgettable.

Have memorable trips made with the people I care about most, and each one was incredibly special:

  • The trip to Europe with my four children and their mother.
  • My son's diving trip to the Maldives.
  • The trip to Chicago with my two young daughters to go skydiving.
  • The great trip to Iceland with my youngest daughter, Isabel.
  • The trip to Qatar for the World Cup with my son Luis Gabriel.
  • Visiting my daughter Andrea, who was studying in Barcelona.

I fondly remember the trip to Argentina with my friend Pablo, where I won first place in innovation at the FISM (International Federation of Magic Societies) World Magic Championship in Latin America. Afterward, I traveled to Busan, Korea, and Japan to compete.

How could I forget to mention the Vatican's invitation to a personal audience with Pope Francis in Rome? I read the O.W.L. and lent him my book.

I also remember the trip to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, with Lino Ruiz, where I managed to surf the waves and stay upright, without much elegance, but withstanding the entire wave.

The great trip to Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand and Bali with the mother of my children, and the visit to Sydney and Cairns (Australia) for diving.

I've had the opportunity to become a partner at Trillions in Switzerland and at my restaurants in Mexico, Querétaro, and León. I've also had the opportunity to create my personal brand, Dr. Roch.

Have 30,200 kisses to remember. I admit I'm a big kisser, because I like to touch the soul with kisses while I can. Of all of them, six have been especially meaningful.

I was thrilled to see my books debut in Europe, Mexico, Colombia, and the United States, and I was thrilled to be able to make them available on Amazon. I've published my last four books in English and Spanish.

I have many melancholic winters, two instructive springs, three painful autumns and 30 spectacular summers. Only 12 nights in which I couldn't sleep, and I'm grateful that they were so few.

I have cried 1,125 times by people who were worth a lot, and I remember 215 times having cried for people who didn't deserve it. I also remember 43 laughs the kind that ends with a stomach ache, because you can't stop laughing and you feel like you're short of breath.

I fulfilled 140 childhood wishes and I stopped wishing 12 teenage dreamsI still have one big life goal that will probably take me the rest of my life: to develop the talents God gave me (making money in heaven) and to see him smile when he sees my life.

I experienced the intense pain of two divorces. The second was long, sad, and painful; the trial lasted seven years.

I remember a great warning from my maternal grandfather, Juan, which I understood in my adulthood: “God is in relationships, but be careful because the devil is there too.”

I lay down in two beds I would have preferred not to be in, and one I would have given anything to wake up in every time.

There is eight mistakes that I would do again without regret, 27,900 errors that I made with pleasure because I corrected them quickly, and 289 of which I do regret.

I can't forget my bachelor's degree from ITESM, my master's degree in Organizational Development from UDEM, and my doctorate (PhD) in Human Behavior from New Port, United States.

The joy of 4 titles in Mexican football and the Guinness record for home sales in Mexico in 2010-2011, with 64,000 houses built and sold in one year.

And, of course, the great experience of love of being a grandfather to Inés and Emilia. I enjoy every day of their lives for the rest of my own.

That reflects my age every time I'm asked about it.

Thank you for reading me,
Dr. Roch
