Today is a good day to die
Welcome to today's great topic. When I say "today is a good day to die," I mean that I have done with my life what I wanted; I mean that I am responsible for the consequences of each of my actions.
As I look at my life, I find that I have chosen beauty, that my focus has been on being grateful and enjoying what I have. Most of the time, I have managed not to desire lack. I have discovered that when you focus on what you lack, what you need appears in your life; and when you need something, then you accept alms, you accept less than what you really want, you accept what the other can give you, and that fills your life with poverty and misery.
When we stop being mental and stop seeing what is missing, we move away from need. Behind every need, there is always lack, and lack is mental, the result of expectations that are out of touch with reality. The mind will always focus you on what is missing. For the mind, nothing is enough because it is perfectionist, but the essence of human nature is imperfection.
Every time you listen to your mind, you will feel needs and focus on what you lack, and that path leads to poverty, pain and loneliness.
When you focus on what is lacking, need arises, and need is always lack. What is behind need is lack: because I do not have something, need arises. When you need something and you ask for it, you are willing to receive crumbs, pittance. And a life full of misery is a life full of pain, suffering and poverty.
Saying “I am” followed by something is a kind of cage.
For example, if I say: “I am good,” “I am generous,” “I am kind,” in that “I am” there is a cage that forces you to be that way in order to have an identity and be validated. And the only one who can say “I am” is God, the creator. When we say “sometimes I am generous,” “sometimes I am kind,” we give ourselves the freedom to be what we are: imperfect and human. In this way we honor the creator, who is the only one who can say “I am” eternally.
A life full of alms is a miserable life, which only serves to suffer.
In my life, I discovered that I had to work so that I wouldn’t need money, because when you need money, you go to someone and say: “Can you lend me 5000 pesos?” And the other person answers: “Dr. Roch, I only have 1500.” So, you are forced to accept those 1500, but we forget that those 1500 are not the 5000 you needed to get back on your feet. Therefore, even if you have 1500, you will be receiving crumbs, and you will continue looking for someone else to continue asking for.
When someone needs money, it is when money does not appear and it is not given to you. When you work and have money, life gives it to you in greater quantities than you need, and that is living in abundance.
When you live a life of abundance, any day is a good day to die.
Remember that a life of abundance allows you to make decisions to direct your life without worry or difficulty due to lack of resources. Abundance allows us to build wonderful lives full of greatness.
Building my life with greatness has been my goal, and I feel deeply grateful to my work, my team, my clients and my wife, because they have allowed me to build the life I have always wanted. This is why today is a good day to die.
I have no pending issues, I don't owe anything to anyone. I feel fulfilled, at peace, grateful and very blessed. If I wanted to be better, I would ask life for a twin.
