How to overcome emotional dependence?

When we talk about how to overcome emotional dependence, we often have to study the image you have of yourself.

This image is often not what you see in reality, but what the people around you think. And sometimes, the people around you do not seek your good, but rather to take advantage of you and manipulate you. Therefore, one of the first actions you must take is to observe yourself from your thymus, the raw reality of who you are, how much you are worth, how much you have developed your talents, how useful you are to yourself and to others, and how capable you are of overcoming frustration, pain and sadness. Nothing in your life will change if you do not become your own psychologist, priest, counselor, teacher, coach and creative.

It's not just about improving your self-image. It's about having a realistic, concrete, specific and evident image of who you are and what you are capable of doing. This is achieved from your wise zone, from your thymus, from your spirit.

Another big difficulty is that you may not be aware that an emotional bond cannot be a goal in itself. Your goal cannot be to have a relationship with someone in particular, you cannot base your security on your relationship, you cannot burden someone with the responsibility that you cannot live without them. You discover that the being who created us made us independent, autonomous and self-sufficient, and that awareness is in your spirit. But your head, sometimes due to mistaken ideas, makes you believe that you are nobody if you do not have a relationship with that person on whom you depend emotionally.

Some effective techniques for overcoming emotional dependency include working on assertiveness and reinforcing self-esteem. Valuing yourself, identifying your worth and learning to love yourself all contribute to improving your mood.
