5 pieces of advice from women to women #Entrepreneurs
Trinidad Vergara is the director and founder, together with Lidia María Riba, of Vergara & Riba Editors, a company that publishes and distributes more than 4 million gift books per year, in Spanish and Portuguese. Susana Balbo is the first female winemaker in the country and alma mater of Dominion of the Silver, the winery he founded in 1999 with the aim of bringing the best Argentine wines to the world.
These are the reflections of two Argentine entrepreneurs who dared to overcome prejudices and give free rein to their ideas to the dream of having their own business.
“Believe in yourself, have a clear project, know how to identify a business opportunity, be willing to work hard, train yourself, train yourself and always continue training yourself. Never give up, even if you have to start over several times: each “failure” is just a new experience that didn’t work, so you have to try another one.”
Susana Balbo
1.- Overcoming fear: “Historically or culturally, it is more natural to think that a man is an entrepreneur, but there is no reason beyond that. Women themselves are the ones who make excuses for their own insecurities” (Trinidad Vergara).

2.- There is no ideal time: “The most important thing is inner energy. Entrepreneurship is an attitude towards life. There will always be crises and doubts, but postponing a project because of that is just an excuse. You have to have confidence in what you want and feel that you choose to develop yourself in that way” (Trinidad Vergara).

3.- Think big.It is much less risky than thinking small. Planning in the short term is a recipe for failure. You have to study the project well, do your homework and have confidence in it, but if you think big, everything you do will be much more serious” (Trinidad Vergara).

Dare to break the mold. “One of the challenges that women face is overcoming the limitations imposed on us by our education. Realizing that there are many stereotypes created by an outdated cultural vision, which focuses and frames women in roles that can now be left aside, and proving to themselves that they can get to where they want to be, with conviction and courage, without having to give up motherhood or having a family” (Susana Balbo).
Recognize your own virtues: “Women's contribution to the company comes from their holistic vision, being open to dialogue, considering their subordinates as fellow travelers in the search for results, the ability to see several apparently conflicting points as a whole and being able to find creative solutions” (Susana Balbo).
