What is falling in love?
When a person is dying, he falls in love.
When a person has lost the meaning of life, he falls in love.
Falling in love happens when a person is already absent from real life.
The brain is programmed for you to survive. When you spend too much time in your head, you stop feeling, you disconnect from reality, you become an egotist: you are not connected to anyone. You start treating others as objects, as furniture that do not have the same value; and that kind of behavior kills the human spirit.
But a human being can only endure this state for a very short period of time, and then he begins to die. And dying hurts! It makes you suffer.
Then the brain takes the reins and orders the pituitary gland to send oxytocin to the frontal lobes: Fall in love, lose your fear, let go of control.
You stop being in the mind to be in love.
