The shadow of success
The brain vs. the error
Your brain is programmed to punish you when you make a mistake: it blocks you, judges you, and sabotages you. The key to success lies not in perfection—human beings are imperfect by nature—but in your ability to reset your mind after every failure.
The real problem isn't making mistakes, but denying them. When you don't acknowledge them or accept their cost, they repeat themselves in your life like a toxic cycle.
The 3 ways to reset your brain
- Physical:
- Lightly tap your nostrils as you inhale deeply through your nose.
- Emotional:
- A 30-second kiss with passion.
- Sexual intimacy with love (not just physical pleasure).
- Spiritual:
- An act of charity genuine: help someone (family or stranger) with something they need really need.
The 3 behaviors to eliminate the shadow of success
- Keep your word (even if it is small):
- If you promise to get up at 7:00, do it.
- If you decide to lose weight, take action.
- Every promise kept is a “microscopic success” that reprograms your brain.
- Accept your reality (past, present and future):
- What you don't accept, repeats itself.
- Resistance to “what is” keeps you trapped in the shadows.
- Recognize your responsibility:
- You caused—consciously or unconsciously—your current results.
- Eliminate the victim role: it is the greatest enemy of success.
Real Success: A Redefinition
Forget the results. True success is in who you become by pursuing what you love.:
- Do what you are passionate about with all your focus.
- If you “fail,” change your perspective: success is about putting forth your best energy, not the outcome.
- As I tell my students: “Succeed even when you lose. Defeat is just a fact; your attitude is your legacy.”.
Practical homework
- Writes only one success you want to achieve.
- Repeat this phrase:
“Success is facing the present with my best weapons, without letting the result define my worth.”.
Small successes = Big energy
Wash away the deals you promised to wash away. Arrive on time for that boring meeting. Every action aligned with your word attracts blessings and inner security.
If you forget everything, remember this:
Stop complaining, demanding, and blaming others. That's the shadow that clouds your success..
