The shield of patience
The shield of patience
By Dr. Roch
“Whatever happens, I will not allow anything to disturb my peace or my inner joy.”
Because when I let unhappiness rule my mind, I lose clarity, my strength diminishes, and my virtues begin to weaken.
Life isn't made up solely of happy moments.
Difficulties, setbacks, and disappointments occur far more often than we would like.
In contrast, great successes, deep happiness, and well-being only come at certain times.
That's why:
I cannot depend on circumstances to live in peace.
I need to develop a shield:
PATIENCE
Patience does not mean resignation or passivity.
It means maintaining composure while facing reality.
It is the ability to I will not surrender my peace to problems.
In the face of any adversity, I will try to remain calm, optimistic, and with the best possible attitude.
If a problem has a solution, I will work to resolve it.
And if she doesn't have it, I will learn to accept it with dignity., Because worrying doesn't change reality; it only consumes my energy.
Today I will train my patience.
Whenever something unpleasant arises—a delay, a loss, a criticism, an injustice, or a difficulty—I will remember that I have two options:
Reacting out of fear.
EITHER:
To respond from my Wise Self.
At the end of the day I will review every moment in which I managed to remain calm and also those in which I still reacted impulsively.
Because patience, like a muscle, It grows stronger every time I decide not to lose my peace.
“Patience does not eliminate problems.
It allows you to get through them without losing yourself.”
Those who lose patience surrender control of their lives to circumstances.
Those who cultivate it discover that true freedom begins within themselves.
PROTECT YOUR PEACE.
Not everything deserves a reaction.
Not everything needs an immediate answer.
Not everything is under your control.
Breathe.
Observe.
Wait.
And answer from your Wise Self.
Your peace can also be cultivated.
