Disappointment!

Disappointment!

By Dr. Roch

“Sometimes life isn’t taking something away from you. It’s showing you something.”

There are times when life shatters, without asking permission, our expectations, our dreams, and what we were sure was going to happen.

And it hurts.

Sadness, disappointment, frustration, anger, helplessness, confusion, fear, anxiety, loneliness... even resentment appear.

But before you fight with what happened:

STOP!

There's something you need to understand.

Often we suffer not only because of what happened, but because of the gap between the reality that occurred and the reality we had constructed in our minds.

We fell in love with a future.

Of a person as we imagined he would be.

From a project.

From a relationship.

From a result.

From a life that did not yet exist.

And when reality doesn't match our expectations, we feel like we've lost something.

But perhaps you didn't lose what you believed in.

Perhaps an illusion was shattered.

And although a disappointment can hurt deeply, it can also become one of the great turning points in our lives.

Because when you know how to navigate it from your Thymus, your Wise Self, you begin to discover the blessings hidden behind what hurts you today:

You learn to stay grounded., Instead of living in expectation that reality will obey your wishes.

You learn to see what IS, not just what you would like it to be.

You strengthen your resilience And you discover that you can rise up even from that which you thought would destroy you.

You learn to choose better.

You free yourself from people, places, or situations that perhaps had already finished their function in your life.

You learn to set boundaries.

You regain your dignity.

✍ And, above all, New paths appear that you would never have discovered while you remained attached to the previous one.

Therefore, be patient with your process.

You don't need to understand everything today.

There are events that at first seem like a tragedy and, with the passage of time, we discover that they were an extraordinary course correction.

“Sometimes life isn’t taking something away from you.
He's showing you something.”

Disillusionment comes when reality shatters a story that our mind had constructed.

And perhaps that's why it's called disappointment:

Stop living from illusion and start looking from truth.

Don't curse too soon what you don't understand today.

Maybe one day you'll look back and say:

“"It's a good thing it didn't happen the way I wanted."”

“"It's a good thing that door closed."”

“I’m so glad I discovered the truth.”

Because when an illusion dies, something much more powerful can be born:

CONSCIOUSNESS

Honor your pain, but don't build your house on it.

He accepts what happened.

Read reality.

Learn.

Get up.

And it continues.

Because perhaps what you call today disappointment, Tomorrow you'll end up calling him:

BLESSING.

Breathe.

Look beyond appearances.

Read your raw reality.

Your Timo already knows the way.
