Certainties and Cages
Human beings want to fly, but they are afraid of emptiness and want certainties.
That's why he prefers cages.
Prison is the place where certainties live.
What the weak man seeks is certainty and complete security.
Security is in prisons and cages. In the relationship commitments that enslave you: to be the husband of a woman, the president of a town, the priest of a community. And then they make it easy for you not to have to decide anything, because you follow the script of your cage (social title).
If you are your wife's husband (furniture): she decides what you have to do and what you don't.
If you have the leadership of a people: it is the cabinet and the deputies and senators who tell you yes and what you can do.
If you are the priest or pastor of your church: it is the authorities who tell you everything you have to do.
That's why caged men escape from this reality with drugs and video games.
Check how much you are in a prison and how aware you are of it.
The cost of discovering who you are is paying for the freedom of being and that requires accepting ambiguity, insecurity, risk and detachment.
He who does not pay the price of his freedom... is afraid of emptiness, of uncertainty.
