There is no such thing as \u201cI fell in love by accident.\u201d Loving is not a random event; it involves a conscious decision that, once made and reciprocated, gives rise to a flourishing relationship. If you want to delve deeper into this topic, I invite you to participate in my annual retreat <em>Naked Relationships<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to clarify that there cannot be one-sided love. Saying \u201cI love her, but she doesn\u2019t love me\u201d is not true love. Love requires reciprocity, because it is an encounter between two people. If you fall in love with someone who does not choose you, it is a deception of your idealized mind, which seeks stimuli to feel seen and loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Love does not happen alone. It is a bond that requires real connection, not mental fantasies. Sometimes, we make bad choices based on interests or illusions, not on a conscious feeling. These decisions can be evaluated by observing whether both develop as individuals. If one stagnates, the choice was wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Love is based on encounters, conscious decisions and mutual enrichment. Now we will explore the levels of love:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Physical love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a love based on companionship. Not necessarily sexual or emotional, it is similar to the relationship between \u201cpets\u201d: eating together, watching television, working side by side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Sexual love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the bond revolves around physical pleasure. However, a cycle of conflict often develops: from pleasure to argument, and from argument to pleasure. This pattern can wear down the relationship if it does not evolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Childhood emotional love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At this level, couples act like children, calling each other \u201cbaby\u201d or \u201cbaby girl\u201d and seeking mutual protection and care. Although there is affection, this type of love is immature, characterized by emotional displays that seek security rather than growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Intellectual love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At this stage, intellect takes center stage, which can cool sexual passion. If reasoning dominates, creativity in the relationship diminishes, giving way to routine, which kills desire and opens the door to possible infidelity. It is crucial to keep sexuality, emotions and affection alive with creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. The spiritual union<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This level seeks to unite souls, sharing a life purpose. Here, love is focused on mutual progress, enjoying the development of one&#039;s own talents and those of one&#039;s partner. Conscious love means being more interested in the growth of the other than in receiving something in return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Divine love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In divine love, couples stand back to back, facing in opposite directions to encompass a 360\u00b0 view. In this position, each complements the other&#039;s perception with respect and support, building decisions based on a shared vision of reality. It is love that seeks what is best for the relationship, not the individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Androgynous or alchemical love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the highest level, where the connection transcends earthly life. This love is eternal, uniting in this life and in the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>True love is not selfishness or dependency; it is mutual surrender and joint growth.
