There are marriages without sexual intimacy.
But almost no one admits it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much less so when it comes to spiritual leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently saw a woman \u2014 a leader in her church, married for 22 years, with four children \u2014 who had gone more than 14 months without intimacy with her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not for lack of love.
Not because of infidelity.
Not because of open conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to bodily disconnection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

She prayed.
She went to the counseling office.
He consulted doctors.
She tried hormone supplements.
He tried to "make an effort".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we analyzed the scam, something very clear emerged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His nervous system was in chronic survival mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustained stress.
Perfectionism.
Excessive responsibility.
Take care of everyone\u2026 except her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

And when the nervous system enters survival mode:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
